Blush Cloud Bedroom Suite Design - York
This project focused on designing a soft and elegant bedroom suite for a young homeowner in Leeds. The aim was to create a calm and dreamy retreat that felt feminine, comfortable, and visually uplifting while still maintaining a refined and balanced layout.
The existing bedroom lacked character and felt visually flat, with standard furniture placement and little sense of personality. The brief was to transform the space into a more expressive bedroom environment that felt relaxing but also visually distinctive. The design concept was inspired by soft cloud-like forms and gentle pastel tones. A bespoke upholstered headboard became the focal point of the room, introducing sculptural curves and a soft blush palette that defines the overall atmosphere.
To ensure the room remained balanced, the furniture layout was carefully arranged to maintain clear circulation while framing the bed as the central feature of the space. Lighting played an important role in the design. Decorative wall lights and warm ambient lighting were introduced to create a layered effect that enhances the softness of the room during the evening.
